Effective date: 20 October 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a licence agreement between you and TEM APP LTD (“we”, “us”) for Daily Budget & Expense, an expense and income tracker for iPhone and Android (the “App”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
If you downloaded the App from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these Terms, Apple’s agreement prevails for the App Store version.
1.1. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.
1.2. Free version. Logging expenses and income, accounts and transfers between them, the standard categories, the spending chart for the period you choose and search are free. A shared budget member without Premium can view the shared budget.
1.3. Premium. Premium unlocks the paid features: your own categories, accounts in another currency, changing your base currency, iCloud sync (iPhone), and creating a shared budget, inviting members and making changes in a shared budget. The current list is shown in the App and on the payment page before you buy and may change.
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription bought in the App through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID. The price in your local currency and the billing period are shown in the App before you buy. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3.1. You can also buy Premium on temfy.app/finance/premium/. Website purchases are sold and billed by ART APP LTD (a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, company number 16291637, registered office 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE), which also handles their cancellation and refunds. Apple is not a party to these purchases. On Android, Premium is available only on the website.
3.2. Premium on the website is an auto-renewing subscription: weekly, monthly or yearly. Prices are in US dollars and include applicable taxes; they are shown on the payment page before you pay, and your bank may convert the amount to your card’s currency. Payment is processed by Stripe. You pay in advance for each period; the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged to the same card until you turn off auto-renewal.
3.3. Before paying you sign in with Apple (iPhone) or Google (Android). Your subscription is linked to the email address received from Apple or Google (including an Apple relay address if you choose “Hide My Email”); the receipt is sent to that address. To use Premium in the App, sign in there with the same Apple ID or Google account (Settings → “Website purchase”). No activation codes are issued.
3.4. Cancellation. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time on the Manage subscription page after signing in with the same Apple ID or Google account. Access stays until the end of the paid period. If you cannot sign in, email artappltd@gmail.com from the address that received the receipt.
3.5. Refunds. Not happy? You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment by emailing artappltd@gmail.com. If Premium does not turn on in the App after you sign in with the same account, contact us and we will restore access or refund you. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, this does not affect your statutory rights.
3.6. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a subscription.
4.1. Shared budget lets you keep accounts together with other people (up to 5 members). It needs an account: Sign in with Apple (iPhone), Google, or an email and password. How account and shared budget data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
4.2. Everything added to a shared budget — accounts, categories, transactions and notes — is visible to all its members, together with the name (or email address) of the person who added it. Invite only people you trust, and do not add anything you are not prepared to share with them.
4.3. The owner invites members, assigns roles (editor or view only) and can change a member’s role. Any member can leave at any time. Entries a member added stay in the budget after they leave or delete their account (without their name or email).
4.4. You are responsible for what you add to a shared budget and for respecting the rights of other members. You may not use Shared budget for spam, unlawful content or in breach of anyone’s rights.
4.5. You can delete your account in the App: Settings → Shared budget → Delete account. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
You may not, yourself or through others: copy, modify or distribute the App except as allowed by law; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent the law expressly permits; call the App’s server functions other than through the App itself; or remove or alter any trademark, copyright or other notice in the App.
The App is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a bank or financial service, does not make payments and does not give financial, tax or investment advice. Exchange rates come from a third-party service, are for reference only, may be delayed and may differ from your bank’s rates.
We may update the App, change or remove features, or stop providing it. Shared budget, iCloud sync and notifications depend on third-party services (Google Firebase, Apple) and an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable. Please do not keep the only copy of data that matters to you in the App.
8.1. We provide the App with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and to the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is”.
8.2. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, for loss of data stored on your device, for the actions of other shared budget members, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you in connection with the App is limited to the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim.
8.3. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it (and your account, if you created one). We may end your licence if you seriously breach these Terms. Sections 6, 8 and 10 continue to apply after these Terms end.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first — most issues can be solved quickly by email.
We may update these Terms. The current version is always available at temfy.app/finance/terms.html. Changes do not affect a period you have already paid for. If you keep using the App after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
